Learning management guidelines of social studies teachers in developing basic concept of economics for learners

Abstract

Naturally man always seeks a better life; therefore, man needs of products and services indefinitely while being faced with a limited amount of resources. For this reason, economics was emerged providing a way to allocate available limited resources to meet human needs of humans in the most effective way. In view of the foregoing, the learning management guideline for social studies teachers in developing basic concepts in economics becomes an essential tool to help teachers in providing encouragement to students in the form of imparting knowledge, skills and appropriate attitudes on economics to students. Students learn to make decision on purchasing essential products and selecting services. They are taught to engage in saving and investing in various ways and to be able to adapt themselves to ever-changing economic conditions. In addition, they are trained to use the knowledge of economics and their lifestyle effectively so that they are able to enjoy living in society.
