Phenomenology of common truth

Abstract

A thing shows itself to any one of us, however it shows itself. Linked to the thing are the "show oneself", the "seeing", the "us", and the question: who sees, to whom does the thing show itself, who is "us" among the things? The thing, the "show oneself", the "us", the "seeing", are defined in a circle, each referring to the others and imposing themselves on the "us" in the same way. Phenomenology – the other, which has nothing in common with that of Husserl – is the study of the diverse ways in which things – phenomena – show themselves to us. In the world, in man’s childhood, things show themselves to us all as self-evident, imposing themselves as a necessity. The truth in question, then, is the common truth: we all see the same things, and things show themselves to us all in the evidence. These three characteristics of the common thing –1) It shows itself to us all, 2) It shows itself in the evidence, 3) It shows itself "one" among other things: multiplicity – are specific to the common thing and do not belong to the initial thing. The initial thing is Being, untouched by any logical work, outside time. The initial thing merges with its sight, with the "seeing", with the "show oneself", with the "us", with its contradiction to nothingness: it is an explosive unity. Being is the mad "One", it is the absolutely surprised sight of seeing, eternal. The absolute surprise of the "seeing" of initial truth is in total contradiction with the evidence of the "seeing" of common truth. Man is given access to Being and its truth. This is the event of a lifetime, the end of childhood. From this truth, the human-being sees the common truth differently than common truth sees itself. He sees the world differently, politics differently, science differently, mathematics and its foundations differently, numbers differently, history differently, art differently. This way of seeing is that of phenomenology. The logos is the discourse of the common truth on itself. Phenomenology calls "translogos" the discourse of the truth of Being on common truth and its logos.
