Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds transformative potential for enhancing fairness, efficiency, and transparency within law-making and judicial processes. By automating routine tasks, analyzing vast amounts of legal data, and providing decision-making support, AI can contribute significantly to the legal system. However, its implementation raises concerns about fairness, accountability, and the potential for algorithmic biases that may perpetuate inequalities. This paper explores the responsible use of AI to ensure fairness in law-making and judicial processes, highlighting the ethical challenges and providing strategies for mitigating bias. It emphasizes the importance of transparency, inclusivity, and regulatory frameworks to guide AI implementation, ensuring the protection of fundamental rights and the integrity of the legal system.
