Traditional Methods and Machine Learning for Anomaly Detection in Self-Organizing Networks.Aakula Lavanya & Dr K. Sekar - 2023 - International Journal of Scientific Research in Science, Engineering and Technology 10 (6).
The motivation behind exploring anomaly detection in self-organizing networks lies in the evolving landscape of telecommunications and network management. Conventional methods for identifying network anomalies often struggle to adapt to the dynamic and complex nature of modern self-organizing networks. The problem addressed in this research is the efficacy of anomaly detection methods in self-organizing networks (SONs) within the context of telecommunications and network management. As SONs become increasingly prevalent to meet the demands of modern, highly dynamic wireless communication systems, the (...)

As the result of the rapid development of technology, information science has become much easier, and therefore the problem of information security is growing. This paper deals with the secretiveness of images, so image encryption is that the latest trend in information caching. The novelty of the work lies in generating crucial images for encryption. The crucial image is then created with the assistance of a secret alphanumeric key. Each alphanumeric key will have an 8bit value generated by the binary (...)

The time window between the disclosure of a new cyber vulnerability and its use by cybercriminals has been getting smaller and smaller over time. Recent episodes, such as the Log4j vulnerability, exemplify this well. Within hours after the exploit being released, attackers started scanning the internet looking for vulnerable hosts to deploy threats like crypto currency miners and ransom ware on vulnerable systems. Thus, it becomes imperative for the cybersecurity defense strategy to detect threats and their capabilities as early as (...)

This paper presents a transformer-based system for automatic detection and classification of human organs from medical images. Leveraging Vision Transformer (ViT) architecture, the proposed model captures both local and global anatomical structures from high-resolution input images. The approach is trained on publicly available datasets using transfer learning and shows significant improvements in accuracy and processing time. The system has potential applications in diagnostics, surgical planning, and medical education, offering real-time assistance and reducing human error..

Leveraging the multi-stage Faster R-CNN architecture, we investigate the impact of adjusting anchor ratios, systemati- cally evaluating their influence on the model’s ability to detect objects with diverse shapes. Departing from the conventional anchor-based approach, YOLOv8 introduces anchor-free detec- tion, eliminating predefined anchors and increasing robustness to object scale variations. The significant losses that banks and other financial organizations suffered due to new bank account (NBA) fraud are alarming as the number of online banking service users increases. The inherent skewness and rarity of NBA fraud instances have been a major challenge to the machine learning (ML) models and happen when non-fraud instances outweigh the fraud instances, which leads the ML models to overlook and erroneously consider fraud as non-fraud instances. Such errors can erode the confidence and trust of customers. (...)

Everything and every word about spirituality have already been said but the practical utility of spiritual wisdom in day to day life to achieve success and live a blissful life is lacking. In this article, we develop a new approach to integrating philosophical phenomenology with qualitative research. The approach uses phenomenology’s concepts, namely existentials, rather than methods such as the epoché or reductions. We here introduce the approach to both philosophers and qualitative researchers, as we believe that these studies are best conducted through interdisciplinary collaboration. In section 1, we review the debate over phenomenology’s role in qualitative research and argue that qualitative theorists have not taken full advantage of what philosophical phenomenology (...)

Integrating Ensemble _Deep Learning Models for Cybersecurity in Cloud Network Forensics (12th edition).B. Menaka Dr S. Arulselvarani, - 2024 - International Journal of Multidisciplinary and Scientific Emerging Research 12 (4):2653-2606. Translated by Dr. S. Arulselvarani.
To evaluate the effectiveness of our approach to enhancing cloud computing network forensics by integrating deep learning techniques with cybersecurity policies. With the increasing complexity and volume of cyber threats targeting cloud environments, traditional forensic methods are becoming inadequate. Deep learning techniques offer promising solutions for analyzing vast amounts of network data and detecting anomalies indicative of security breaches. By integrating deep learning models with cybersecurity policies, organizations can achieve enhanced threat detection, rapid response times, and improved overall security posture. (...)

We provide an analysis of the public's having warranted epistemic trust in science, that is, the conditions under which the public may be said to have well-placed trust in the scientists as providers of information. We distinguish between basic and enhanced epistemic trust in science and provide necessary conditions for both. We then present the controversy regarding the connection between autism and measles–mumps–rubella vaccination as a case study to illustrate our analysis. The realization of warranted epistemic public trust in science (...)

Drowsiness detection is a critical application in various fields, particularly in transportation, where driver fatigue is a major cause of accidents. This project aims to develop a simple yet effective system for detecting drowsiness using machine learning techniques. The system leverages computer vision and machine learning algorithms to analyse facial landmarks and eye closure patterns in real-time. We utilize a pre-trained facial feature extraction, focusing on key indicators such as eye aspect ratio (EAR) and head position. The data collected is (...)

In this paper, I'm questing the human insecurity and loneliness in a world struggling with a newfound understanding of mortality, change and technological intervention. I took Kazu Ishiguro's novel "Klara and the Sun" as it contains certain themes that depict not only the idea of struggling man in the new age, but also how the digital age is disrupting the human feelings. It reflects the patterns of the changing world while exploring the true meaning of love. Ishiguro has used a (...)
