The study aimed to identify the knowledge management processes and their role in achieving competitive advantage at Al-Quds Open University. The study was based on the descriptive analytical method, and the study population consists of academic and administrative staff in each of the branches of Al-Quds Open University in (Tulkarm, Nablus and Jenin). The researchers selected a sample of the study population by the intentional non-probability method, the size of (70) employees. A questionnaire was prepared and supervised by a number (...) of specialists in order to obtain the results of the study. The study concluded that there is a positive direct relationship, that is, the higher the degree of application of knowledge management processes, the greater the degree of competitive advantage. Knowledge Technology came first with a score of 80.02% on all items. Competitive advantage came second with 81.74%. In the third place came "knowledge generation" where the total score on all paragraphs in this area (78.24%). In the fourth place, "knowledge transfer" (77.21%). "Developing and storing knowledge" came in fifth place (77.13%). "Acquisition of knowledge" came in sixth place (76.45%). Knowledge Organization ranked seventh (74.26%). The study recommended that the university should enable the employees to benefit from the experiences and expertise available to help generate knowledge. The University encourages the creation of knowledge through the system of incentives and open the way for creators to apply their creations and spread and invest in excellence and creativity. The university should design work performance levels based on the integration of knowledge and organize it according to policies that support freedom of research. The need for Palestinian universities to adopt a knowledge management approach. The need to adopt a system of incentives that rewards cognitive efforts, and give workers enough freedom to enable them to apply their knowledge. (shrink)
This study aims to identify the strengthening of the global entrepreneurial orientation practice for employees at the University of Palestine, where the researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach, through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of employees at the University of Palestine, where the size of the study population is (234) employees and the sample size is (117) Employees, of whom (90) employees responded. This study aimed to identify the impact of computerized management information systems on the performance of the employees of Palestinian Cellular Communications Company (Jawwal). The SPSS statistical package was adopted. The study reached several results, the most important of which are the presence of statistically significant impact of the requirements of operation and management of computerized management information systems (hardware, software, human, organizational) on the performance of the employees of Palestinian Cellular Communications Company (Jawwal), and the presence of statistically significant (...) differences between the perceptions of the respondents on the "impact Computerized Management Information Systems (MIS) on the performance of the employees of Palestinian Cellular Communications Company (Jawwal), attributed to the demographic variables (scientific level, years of experience, workplace, job level). The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are the following: 1. The need to keep abreast of technological developments in the field of management information systems and to ensure the use of modern hardware, and sophisticated software. 2. Attention to the availability of modern networks and work to solve network problems such as problems of interruptions and slow communication that came within the results of the study. 3. This study aims to identify digital repositories and their relationship with modern strategic planning for the smart infrastructure of universities: a field study applied to the University of Palestine, where the researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach, through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of employees at the University of Palestine, where the size of the study population (234) employees and the sample size is (117) employees, of whom (90) employees responded. Where the study provided a theoretical framework for (...) what the authors and researchers presented about the study variables, as well as a practical analytical framework for the opinions of employees at the University of Palestine, and the digital repositories were expressed as an independent variable through its four indicators (storing scientific research, classifying scientific research, creating an electronic portfolio for research, scientific, receiving and updating scientific research), while the dependent variable was expressed in the modern strategic planning of smart infrastructure. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The existence of a good degree of satisfaction with digital repositories at the University of Palestine with a relative weight (72.13%). The dimensions of the digital repositories were arranged as follows (receiving and updating scientific research, classifying scientific research, storing scientific research, creating an electronic portfolio for scientific research). The results also showed a high level of satisfaction with the modern strategic planning of infrastructure at the University of Palestine, where the percentage reached (70.48%). And the existence of a statistically significant positive relationship between digital warehouses and modern strategic planning for infrastructure at the University of Palestine, and the results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in digital repositories and their relationship to modern strategic planning for the infrastructure according to demographic variables. The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The need for universities to strengthen the digital repositories at the university and urge academics to include their scientific contributions in the digital repository for research.
