Developing AI Algorithms for Effective Waste Management and Recycling.Olufemi Chinedu, Amina, - 2025 - International Journal of Multidisciplinary and Scientific Emerging Research 13 (2):905-909.
Waste management and recycling are pressing global challenges due to rapid urbanization and industrialization. Traditional waste handling methods are often inefficient and unsustainable. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into waste management systems has the potential to revolutionize how waste is collected, sorted, processed, and recycled. This paper discusses the development and implementation of AI algorithms aimed at improving the efficiency of waste management and recycling processes. Emphasis is placed on image recognition for waste sorting, route optimization for collection, and (...)

  2. An Investigation of Obligatory Anthropoholism as Plausible African Environmental Ethics.Chinedu S. Ifeakor - 2019 - International Journal of Environmental Pollution and Environmental Modelling 1 (1):169-176.
African ontological discourse revolves around a few principles, the interrelatedness of being, what is variously interpreted as communalism, ubuntu, Holism, communitarianism etc. This is the view that every being in the world, animate and inanimate are interconnected into a whole. This makes it possible for African environmental attitude to claim to be holistic. Since we are one, we care for each other, humans care for animals, plants, and mountains not because of what to gain from them but because we are (...)

Abstract: Herders and farmers conflicts in Nigeria have enjoyed a lot of construal and different connotations. The confrontations mostly started as farmers and herder’s conflict, then the attacks of suspected Fulani herders, then rustlers and bandits and a lot of others. The mode of attacks and nature of the clashes varies in different times and different places. The conflicts have further opened ways to menace such as the spread of Fulani bandit, the rise of cattle rustlers and other criminalities such (...)

  5. Hegel's Historical Denialism and Epistemic Eclipse in African Philosophy.Leye Komolafe - 2023 - Journal of Contemporary African Philosophy 4 (2):36-45.
African philosophy remains bedeviled by relics of Hegel’s racist chants against the rationality of Africans, and this situation deserves revisitation and reevaluation for reconstructive purposes. In this paper, I implicate Hegel’s concatenations as necessitating the reactive fervour within which a significant portion of the themes, thesis, and content of African philosophy is locked. This influence, which partially eclipses African philosophy, I term historical denialism. In an attempt to repudiate Hegel’s constructs, some philosophers in Africa seem ideologically contrived into developing or (...)

  6. Africa, the global order and the politics of aid.Chika C. Mba - 2022 - South African Journal of Philosophy 41 (1):103-115.
A strong, but underexplored linkage exists between the current global order, world poverty and the politics of aid. Exploring this linkage, which is the key concern of this article, is crucial for a fuller understanding of the symbiotic injustice of the global order and the politics of aid. Using a conceptual thought experiment that portrays the framework of post-war global order as an intrinsically unjust “Global Games Arena”, I attempt a “vivisection” of the problematic relationship between the global order and (...)
