Abstract
Plato’s Theory of Perception
This research deals with Plato's perceptual theory, as the perceptual theory in Plato's philosophy represents one of the steps of the Plato’s epistemology. Plato divided knowledge into four categories:
Sensory knowledge, presumptive knowledge, mathematical knowledge, and rational knowledge.
The theory of sensory perception is in the first place, so this research focuses on the statements, the meaning of perception, the senses, the difference between sensation and mind, the topics of sensory perception, and the nature of the work of sensory perception.
