  1. Competition and information.I. Walker - 1993 - Acta Biotheoretica 41 (3):249-266.
Reconsideration of the logistic equation and of its expansion to the special and general Volterra competition equations in terms of mass/energy in phase-space, shows that information on the phase-spatial conditions of resource and consumers determines specific population parameters which, in turn, decide on coexistence and extinction. Thus, introduction ofInformation as a separate and independent biophysical parameter, in analogy, and in addition, to Force in Classical Physics, is necessary. This allows for quantification of informational effects on resource flows and population numbers. As (...)

A Revelação de Deus já está dada definitivamente no (...)

  • Bonaventure’s Contribution to the Twentieth Century Debate on Apophatic Theology.Adriaan T. Peperzak - 1998 - Faith and Philosophy 15 (2):181-192.
To what extent does Bonaventure’s work contribute to a renewal of negative theology? Rather than answering this question directly, this article focuses on the negative moments which, according to Bonaventure, characterize the human quest for God and the docta ignorantia to which it is oriented. Bonaventure’s synthesis of Aristotelian ontology and Dionysian Neoplatonism is a wisdom that admires God’s being good as manifested in Christ’s human suffering and death.
