« Il valore delle leggi statistiche nella fisica e nelle scienze sociali » est le seul article d'Ettore Majorana qui ne soit pas de science mais sur la science. Il critique le déterminisme classique au nom du caractère intrinsèquement probabilitaire des lois en mécanique quantique et en sciences sociales entre lesquelles il établit une analogie formelle. Nous analysons son argumentation sur les plans métaphysique, physique et sociologique, avant d’évaluer la pertinence de cette épistémologie transversale.

La construction de référentiels historiques suppose la distinction et l'articulation entre les temps chronologique et phénoménologique. Parce qu'elle relativise la notion de simultanéité et renverse son rapport avec celle de causalité, la théorie de la relativité restreinte peut induire des réflexions analogues au sujet de la notion de « contemporanéité » en histoire de l'art (Panofsky) ou en épistémologie (Bachelard). Cette méthode « relativiste », parfois méconnue, coordonne les éclairages historiciste et présentiste.

This article leans on an experience of online higher education during ten years. Having set the practices of the teaching staff in the paradigmatic tensionnal field of the online higher education, the author questions in terms of arts to make the experience of teachers passing from face-to-face to online education. These arts to make are relative to the complexity of times and rhythms lived but also to the anxiety in front of time of the institution which becomes blurred in the (...) distance teaching. The author will consider that, through the invented knacks and the crossed anxieties, this passage from face-to-face to online education comes along with forms of professionalization of the organization and with the actors. The article follows the mutation suffered by the issue of alterity from Husserl to Heidegger and from Heidegger to Lévinas, envisaging it starting from temporality. We aim at replacing the question “Where is the other?” – that betrays the spatializing presuppositions of description – with “When is the other?” that can be clarified starting from the question “When are we together?”. Rather than deducing from the issue of co-presence, the final postponement of all attempt to conceive intersubjectivity in terms of (...) contemporaneity, we subject it to an analysis that raises again the theme of world-time starting from an attention that testifies to the multiple layers that constitute temporality and the plurality of durations that intertwine in it. The article shows the strategic analogies, but also the differences between Bachelard and Canguilhem on the use of the history of science for epistemology. It emphasizes the importance of the ideology for Canguilhem, and the conceptual essence he recognizes in the history of science, which is read in its internal specific differences and in its complex articulations with life and reality. No concept, in fact, comes from nothing. The link between history and epistemology is not however of subjection, but of (...) mutual influence. Canguilhem radicalizes the thought of Bachelard, and recognizes the historicity of every aspect of scientific knowledge, even of its less valued features and above all of errors. All aspects of Science are historical. The object of the history of science is not the object of the sciences, because it is always a discourse. This is why the history of science is inevitably linked to other forms of history. This opens up a pluralist conception of History and of Time, thinking of the sciences in their real body and no longer ideal or legal. Thus Canguilhem opens the way to the researches of Foucault and Serres. (shrink)

Se propone una lectura fenomenológica en torno al concepto bergsoniano de durée. Para esto, se revisa el registro y recepción de Bergson en la tradición fenomenológica. Al advertir la cercanía entre Bergson y la fenomenología, es analizable la durée fenomenológicamente. Es decir, la duración entendida como constitución de conciencia, de los objetos reales del mundo y de la relación entre la conciencia que aprehende y la experiencia aprehendida. Con ello, destaca el método de la intuición o simpatía intelectual en clave (...) de método de división, a la vez, la posibilidad de conocimiento objetivo y esencial respecto de la realidad. Já eu venho escolhendo a precária, transitória e possivelmente redundante designação de “ritmo vital”. Escolher este nome não resulta de uma tentativa de definição, é antes uma decisão operatória que permite avançar e descolar a atenção do isto, para o gesto de contacto com esse isto – ritmo vital –, e a sua relação com a experiência (...) estética e com a criação artística. La notion de « cause secrète », à laquelle les classiques ont largement eu recours, est liée à une pratique de la science et à une conception de ses méthodes telles que la « loi » se trouve au coeur du dispositif. Si certains phénomènes paraissent ne pas être régis par la loi, il faut alors se mettre à amender la loi par de « petites équations ». Si le calcul des probabilités entre en scène, c'est pour déceler précisément la (...) présence de causes qui, d'abord secrètes, le seront moins par la suite, et seront, de toute façon, conformes aux lois. La temporalité est pensée spontanément en référence à des unités de mesure qui inscrivent les événements dans une succession réglée, nommée, partagée. Pourtant la mesure de la succession, à l'égal de la mesure des distances spatiales, n'épuise pas la vérité du devenir, du changement. Si les philosophes ont cautionné dans l'ensemble la nature cognitive métrique du temps en l'alignant sur les mathématiques, certains n'ont pas manqué de l'inscrire aussi dans une expérience subjective, un vécu - Philosophie – Nouvel article.
