Thus ‘sexpot’ and ‘sex kitten’, which are still defined in exclusively feminine terms in the fifth edition of The Concise Oxford Dictionary , have finally met their lexicographical match.     The second line of the poem in which Archilochus related his fable of the fox and the ape was a source of perplexity to Hellenistic scholars.
