Riassunto Il patronato letterario era un sistema di relazioni sociali diffuso nell’Italia Ostrogota, come attestano le opere di Ennodio, Boezio, Cassiodoro e Arator. Ennodio cercò a lungo un dives patronus che fosse in grado di dare fama alle sue opere, mentre Boezio, grazie al sostegno di Simmaco, ottenne in breve tempo grande notorietà, tanto che Teoderico cercò di farlo entrare a corte. Cassiodoro è l’esempio più noto del patronato teodericiano, mentre Arator rivela che anche i membri del clero furono importanti (...) mecenati. Questi autori permettono di comprendere i motivi che spinsero i letterati a cercare un patrono e le principali caratteristiche del patronato senatorio, regio ed ecclesiastico, oltre a testimoniare l’importanza degli studia litterarum nell’Italia tardoantica e le strategie di legittimazione adottate dai sovrani ostrogoti. مسئلۀ محوری در این مقاله پی بردن به رابطۀ فلسفه و دین در انسان‌شناسی بوئثیوس است. بدین منظور مؤلفه‌هایی همچون خلقت، چیستی اختیار و دلیل مختار بودن انسان و غایت نهایی انسان هم در رسائل کلامی، به عنوان نمایندۀ دیدگاه‌های کلامی بوئثیوس، و هم در تسلای فلسفه، به عنوان نمایندۀ فلسفۀ بوئثیوس، به روش تحلیلی-توصیفی مورد بررسی قرار می‌گیرند. بوئثیوس در هر دو اثر قائل به دوگانه‌انگاری و مختار بودن انسان است و عقل داشتن انسان را دلیل بر اختیار او (...) می‌داند. در خصوص خلقت انسان و قرارگیری نفس در بدن، در رسائل کلامی گزارش کتاب مقدس را می‌پذیرد و در تسلای فلسفه بیشتر به قرائت افلاطونی قائل است، هرچند در اینجا نیز تجسد نفوس را به فعل الهی نسبت می‌دهد. در تسلای فلسفه، او به نحو کامل‌تری به اختیار انسان‌ و علم الهی می‌پردازد، و به کمک پنج مؤلفۀ راه‌های کسب معرفت، متعلق علم قرار گرفتن مدرَک نه به واسطۀ ذات خود بلکه به واسطۀ ذات مدرِک، تمایز میان ضرورت محض و ضرورت مشروط، تمایز سرمدیت با ابدیت، و اثبات سرمدیت برای علم خداوند، نظریۀ خود را در خصوص جمع بین مشیت الهی و اختیار انسان ارائه می‌دهد. او ثابت می‌کند که همۀ وقایع آینده از منظر الهی ضروری‌اند، اما برخی فی‌نفسه ضرورت دارند و برخی به اختیار انتخاب می‌شوند. در مجموع، تصویری که بوئثیوس از انسان در تسلای فلسفه ارائه می‌دهد تصویر انسان در رسائل کلامی را مخدوش نمی‌سازد. "CONSOLATIONE PHILOSOPHIAE" BY SEVERIN BOETHIUS The paper examines the literature basic of Severin Boethius work «The Consolation of Philosophy». The author starts with the historical context of the appearance of the text and then goes to consider its variety of literary genres and forms. Main of them are satura Menippea, consolation, protreptic, soliloquy, and dialogue. Textual and conceptual analyses have relieved the connection between Boethius’s «The Consolation» and the works of other famous authors of Antiquity among them there are Plato, (...) Aristotle, Seneca, Cicero, and St. Augustine. As a connoisseur of Antiquity, Boethius uses literature to explain his philosophical ideas. In addition, the author of the article suggests an analytical review of the image of the Lade Philosophy in «Consolation». The genealogy of this literary character refers to the Greek mythology, Plato’s «Symposium» and «Crito» dialogues, Martianus Capella’s work «On the Marriage of Philology and Mercury» and Augustine’s the literary image of St. Monika. The article reconstructs an epistemological methodology of Boethius’s Neoplatonic dialogue that consists of five stages and describes a therapeutic role of philosophy in the traditions of Plato and Stoics. The essence of this role is a mind therapy. Philosophy teaches us to see the world as a whole, to describe it in clear notions and judgments. According to the text of «Consolation», Boethius takes us to make an intellectual Neoplatonic climbing from practical (ethic) to theoretical (metaphysic) philosophy – from vita activa to vita speculativa. The main aim or the top of this Neoplatonic meditation is a contemplative life or reminding own Ego.
