    The article discusses Georg Simmel’s theorizing on the social in the light of his treatment of the ‘dyad’ and the ‘triad’, constellations of two and three elements.   • In Search of Unity: Georg Simmel on Italian Cities as Works of Art.Efraim Podoksik - 2012 - Theory, Culture and Society 29 (7-8):101-123.
    The article suggests that Simmel’s thought should be interpreted as a coherent series of continuous attempts to solve philosophically the dilemmas entailed in the German ideal of Bildung.
