The Sphere Model of Consciousness (SMC) delineates a sphere-shaped matrix that aims to describe the phenomenology of experience using geometric coordinates. • Limitations of Hoerl and McCormack's dual systems model of temporal consciousness.Eve A. Isham, Elijah M. Ziskin & Mary A. Peterson - 2019 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 42.

These issues include their reliance on a somewhat vague consideration of “systems” rather than specific computational processes. Moreover, the model does not consider the subjective nature of temporal experience or the role of consciousness in temporal cognition.
