    Various authors use the Rietdijk–Putnam argument while proposing that special relativity implies eternalism. For example, special relativity observers are limited by the relativity of simultaneity and cannot detect a preferred universal chronology. Any pair of special relativity observers that are causally disconnected to each other will detect ubiquitous relativistic reversals of chronology. The argument concludes that the reversals of chronology imply that all events in the past, present, and future exist "now."
