RésuméLa présente étude aborde la question de savoir comment l’œuvre du Marquis de Sade reste sur les développements des jeux du langage wittgensteniens, c’est-à-dire des pratiques langagières associées à la communication dans un contexte donné. Tout d’abord, une identification de la règle (en tant qu’élément organique d’une pratique langagière), et du rôle de l’abduction peircienne pour son application, montre que pour Sade « faire la même chose » (c’est-à-dire suivre la règle) lui permet de créer un système sémiotique pour justifier (...) une idéologie du privilège bourgeois. Ainsi conçue, la règle d’auteur devient expérience iconique d’hypervisibilité (fondée sur la frontalité de la sexualité) lorsqu’elle est appliquée par le lecteur (participant potentiel) à des nouveaux jeux du langage. En ce sens, les jeux du langage proposés par Sade visent à franchir les rets du livre pour justifier les illusions (im)morales de l’auteur, clés de voûte de toute son œuvre. (shrink)

The review identifies the components of H. M. Lloyd’s contextual intellectual reconstruction of Marquis de Sade’s philosophical system in the context of the Enlightenment. The fundamental importance of the Enlightenment discourse of sensibility, its influence on the theory of natural law and moral philosophy of the eighteenth century is established. The main stages of reconstruction of Sade’s “system” are demonstrated, namely: 1) philosophical context (ontology and epistemology) as a discourse of sensibility; 2) particularities of the “roman philosophique” as a genre; (...) 3) the moral philosophy of the era and the Sade's response to it; 4) Sade’s theories of corporeal sensibility and affective self-cultivation, that isits philosophical askesis; 5) understanding of Sade in the context of the development of contemporary philosophy. It is noted that such reconstruction problematizes of the formal and substantive components of philosophical discourse in the academic environment. (shrink)

Consideration of the work of Sade in relation to Adorno usually refers to the much-discussed chapter from Dialektik der Aufklärung. But Adorno made a number of other remarks across his career that suggest a very different reading. I will discuss the three most significant of these remarks and show how they develop an approach to the libidinal aspect of aesthetic experience that challenges our understanding of the relation of thought and language. In doing so, Sade’s works indicate an extraordinary liberation (...) of the dialectic of natural-history through a mimesis of desire, which is made apparent in what Sade’s texts literally present; in their contingency and also their facticity. В огляді визначено складові контекстуальної інтелектуальної реконструкції філософсь-кої системи маркіза де Сада в контексті Просвітництва, здійсненої Г. М. Лойдом. Встанов-лено принципове значення просвітницького дискурсу чутливості, його вплив на теорію при-родного права й моральної філософії XVIII століття. Продемонстровано основні етапи ре-конструкції «системи» Сада, а саме: 1) філософський контекст як дискурс чутливості; 2) специфіка жанру філософського роману; 3) моральна філософія епохи та реакція Сада щодо неї; 4) теорія тілесної чутливості та теорія афективного само-розвитку Сада, тобто його філософський аскезис; 5) особливості розуміння Сада (...) в контексті розвитку сучасної філософії. Зазначено, що така реконструкція проблематизує формальні й змістовні складові філософського дискурсу в академічному середовищі. (shrink)
