  1. Effective completeness theorems for modal logic.Suman Ganguli & Anil Nerode - 2004 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 128 (1-3):141-195.
We initiate the study of computable model theory of modal logic, by proving effective completeness theorems for a variety of first-order modal logics. We formulate a natural definition of a decidable Kripke model, and show how to construct such a decidable Kripke model of a given decidable theory. Our construction is inspired by the effective Henkin construction for classical logic. The Henkin construction, however, depends in an essential way on the Deduction Theorem. In its usual form the Deduction Theorem fails (...)

  • First-Order Logic in the Medvedev Lattice.Rutger Kuyper - 2015 - Studia Logica 103 (6):1185-1224.
Kolmogorov introduced an informal calculus of problems in an attempt to provide a classical semantics for intuitionistic logic. This was later formalised by Medvedev and Muchnik as what has come to be called the Medvedev and Muchnik lattices. However, they only formalised this for propositional logic, while Kolmogorov also discussed the universal quantifier. We extend the work of Medvedev to first-order logic, using the notion of a first-order hyperdoctrine from categorical logic, to a structure which we will call the hyperdoctrine (...)

  • Reverse Mathematics and Completeness Theorems for Intuitionistic Logic.Takeshi Yamazaki - 2001 - Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic 42 (3):143-148.
In this paper, we investigate the logical strength of completeness theorems for intuitionistic logic along the program of reverse mathematics. Among others we show that is equivalent over to the strong completeness theorem for intuitionistic logic: any countable theory of intuitionistic predicate logic can be characterized by a single Kripke model.
