    The Hyperuniverse Programme, introduced in Arrigoni and Friedman (2013), fosters the search for new set-theoretic axioms. In this paper, we present the procedure envisaged by the programme to find new axioms and the conceptual framework behind it. The procedure comes in several steps.     After analysing the issue of normativity in different subjects in order to see how it is vindicated, the case of logic is considered. Subsequently we turn to explore two different epistemologies for logic to see the sort of defence of the normativity of logic they let; if any.
