  • On Jaśkowski's Discussive Logics.Newton C. A. da Costa & Francisco A. Doria - 1995 - Studia Logica 54 (1):33 - 60.
We expose the main ideas, concepts and results about Jaśkowski's discussive logic, and apply that logic to the concept of pragmatic truth and to the Dalla Chiara-di Francia view of the foundations of physics.

  • Unified quantum logic.Mladen Pavičić - 1989 - Foundations of Physics 19 (8):999-1016.
Unified quantum logic based on unified operations of implication is formulated as an axiomatic calculus. Soundness and completeness are demonstrated using standard algebraic techniques. An embedding of quantum logic into a new modal system is carried out and discussed.

  • Basic properties of the equivalence.Jacek K. Kabziński - 1982 - Studia Logica 41 (1):17-40.
In this paper we investigate some basic semantic and syntactic conditions characterizing the equivalence connective. In particular we define three basic classes of algebras: the class of weak equivalential algebras, the class of equivalential algebras and the class of regular equivalential algebras.Weak equivalential algebras can be used to study purely equivalential fragments of relevant logics and strict equivalential fragments of some modal logics. Equivalential algebras are suitable to study purely equivalential fragment of BCI and BCK logic. A subclass of the (...)
