  1. Continuity, proof systems and the theory of transfinite computations.Dag Normann - 2002 - Archive for Mathematical Logic 41 (8):765-788.
We use the theory of domains with totality to construct some logics generalizing ω-logic and β-logic and we prove a completenes theorem for these logics. The key application is E-logic, the logic related to the functional 3E. We prove a compactness theorem for sets of sentences semicomputable in 3E.

  • Equational theories for inductive types.Ralph Loader - 1997 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 84 (2):175-217.
This paper provides characterisations of the equational theory of the PER model of a typed lambda calculus with inductive types. The characterisation may be cast as a full abstraction result; in other words, we show that the equations between terms valid in this model coincides with a certain syntactically defined equivalence relation. Along the way we give other characterisations of this equivalence; from below, from above, and from a domain model, a version of the Kreisel-Lacombe-Shoenfield theorem allows us to transfer (...)

In examples like the total recursive functions or the computable real numbers the canonical indexings are only partial maps. It is even impossible in these cases to find an equivalent total numbering. We consider effectively given topologicalT0-spaces and study the problem in which cases the canonical numberings of such spaces can be totalized,i.e., have an equivalent total indexing. Moreover, we show under very natural assumptions that such spaces can effectively and effectively homeomorphically be embedded into a totally indexed algebraic partial (...)
