    In this chapter, I will demonstrate why the ceaseless advocacy for ‘teaching the controversy’ in schools is both naïvely optimistic for what it hopes to accomplish, and ill-advised for what it fails to consider vis-à-vis the conditions necessary for its implementation. It is naïvely optimistic for what it expects of ordinary teachers under the conventional working conditions in most schools.
