  1. Subintuitionistic logics and their modal companions: a nested approach.Matteo Tesi - 2024 - Journal of Applied Non-Classical Logics 34 (4):493-526.
In the present paper we deal with subintuitionistic logics and their modal companions. In particular, we introduce nested calculi for subintuitionistic systems and for modal logics in the S5 modal cube ranging from K to S4. The latter calculi differ from standard nested systems, as there are multiple rules handling the modal operator. As an upshot, we get a purely syntactic proof of the Gödel-McKinsey-Tarski embedding which preserves the structure and the height of the derivations. Finally, we obtain a conservativity (...)

  • Another Neighbourhood Semantics for Intuitionistic Logic.Morteza Moniri & Fatemeh Shirmohammadzadeh Maleki - forthcoming - Logic Journal of the IGPL.
In this paper we first introduce a new neighbourhood semantics for propositional intuitionistic logic. We then naturally extend this semantics to first-order intuitionistic logic. We also study bisimulation between neighbourhood models and prove some of their basic properties for both propositional and first-order intuitionistic logic.

  • Topological and Multi-Topological Frames in the Context of Intuitionistic Modal Logic.Tomasz Witczak - 2019 - Bulletin of the Section of Logic 48 (3):187-205.
We present three examples of topological semantics for intuitionistic modal logic with one modal operator □. We show that it is possible to treat neighborhood models, introduced earlier, as topological or multi-topological. From the neighborhood point of view, our method is based on differences between properties of minimal and maximal neighborhoods. Also we propose transformation of multitopological spaces into the neighborhood structures.

  • Monotone Subintuitionistic Logic: Duality and Transfer Results.Jim de Groot & Dirk Pattinson - 2022 - Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic 63 (2):213-242.
We consider subintuitionistic logics as an extension of positive propositional logic with a binary modality, interpreted over ordered and unordered monotone neighborhood frames, with a range of frame conditions. This change in perspective allows us to apply tools and techniques from the modal setting to subintuitionistic logics. We provide a Priestley-style duality, and transfer results from the (classical) logic of monotone neighborhood frames to obtain completeness, conservativity, and a finite model property for the basic logic, extended with a number of (...)
