  1. Iterated ultrapowers for the masses.Ali Enayat, Matt Kaufmann & Zachiri McKenzie - 2018 - Archive for Mathematical Logic 57 (5-6):557-576.
We present a novel, perspicuous framework for building iterated ultrapowers. Furthermore, our framework naturally lends itself to the construction of a certain type of order indiscernibles, here dubbed tight indiscernibles, which are shown to provide smooth proofs of several results in general model theory.

  • Number theory and elementary arithmetic.Jeremy Avigad - 2003 - Philosophia Mathematica 11 (3):257-284.
is a fragment of first-order aritlimetic so weak that it cannot prove the totality of an iterated exponential fimction. Surprisingly, however, the theory is remarkably robust. I will discuss formal results that show that many theorems of number theory and combinatorics are derivable in elementary arithmetic, and try to place these results in a broader philosophical context.

  • A Valuation Theoretic Characterization of Recursively Saturated Real Closed Fields.Paola D’Aquino, Salma Kuhlmann & Karen Lange - 2015 - Journal of Symbolic Logic 80 (1):194-206.
We give a valuation theoretic characterization for a real closed field to be recursively saturated. This builds on work in [9], where the authors gave such a characterization forκ-saturation, for a cardinal$\kappa \ge \aleph _0 $. Our result extends the characterization of Harnik and Ressayre [7] for a divisible ordered abelian group to be recursively saturated.
