  • Between science and craft: The case of berthollet and dyeing.Barbara Whitney Keyser - 1990 - Annals of Science 47 (3):213-260.
In Éléments de l'art de la teinture, Claude-Louis Berthollet organized and described knowledge of a chemical craft in terms of contemporary chemical science.
