Abstract

A brief analysis of the conceptual form and applications of "metamodels". The main intent is to explore the consequences of treating knowledge models as objects in themselves, for the purpose of creating a subsequent model of those objects. This process is mirrored in the nature of category theory, which aims to treat mathematical systems and structures as point-like objects for the purpose of meta-analysis.
