Abstract

The rise of social media has brought with it a significant increase in fake profiles, which are used for malicious activities like spamming, impersonation, and spreading misinformation. Existing detection methods, which rely on manual reporting and basic automated systems, are often insufficient in identifying these sophisticated fake accounts. To address this challenge, we propose the development of an AI-driven software application designed to automatically detect and report fake social media profiles. By analyzing user behavior, content patterns, and metadata, the system will provide a more effective and scalable solution for crime branches and investigative agencies, helping to enhance online security and protect users from the dangers posed by fake accounts.
