Three Utilitarians: Hume, Bentham, and Mill

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to clarify the relationship of three thinkers, Hume,
Bentham, and Mill in the context of utilitarianism. Through discussion, we shall figure
out how and why utilitarianism is trustworthy.
