Abstract

Climate change and biodiversity loss have long been approached as separate challenges. However, more than 200 leading health journals—including The Lancet, BMJ, and others—now sound the alarm that this fragmented view is dangerously flawed. In a landmark joint editorial, they call on world leaders and health professionals to recognize these crises as inseparable components of a single, escalating threat—one that is already jeopardizing human health and pushing us closer to irreversible damage.
