Abstract

The intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and design has evolved dramatically in recent years, largely driven by the rise of generative models. These models, including Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and Transformer models, are transforming how designs are created, allowing machines to generate innovative, customized, and optimized solutions autonomously. In industries such as architecture, product design, and fashion, AI-driven design tools are increasingly being used to automate the creative process, produce new designs, and even optimize existing ones. This paper explores the impact of generative AI on the design industry, how AI models are integrated into design workflows, and the future potential of AI in reshaping traditional design practices. It also discusses the challenges and ethical considerations associated with the use of AI in creative processes.
