Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing how we interact with the world, including our spiritual lives. This article explores the potential of AI to transform the learning and practices of Sikhi spirituality. AI can enhance access to and understanding Gurbani, foster global Sikh communities and support Sikh education and seva initiatives. However, ethical considerations regarding doctrinal accuracy, tradition preservation, and AI's potential to replace human connection require careful attention. Sikh institutions must proactively guide the development and implementation of AI to ensure alignment with Sikh values and principles, promoting a balanced approach that leverages technology to enhance, not replace, human spiritual engagement.
