Abstract

This project focuses on developing a system for air writing and character recognition using OpenCV and MediaPipe. The system allows users to write characters in the air, which are then captured and recognized in real-time. By leveraging computer vision and machine learning techniques, the project aims to provide an intuitive and efficient method for inputting text without physical contact with a device. The system is designed to be user-friendly and adaptable to various applications, including virtual reality, accessibility tools, and educational software. Keywords. Air writing, character recognition, OpenCV, MediaPipe, computer vision, machine learning, real-time processing, virtual input, gesture recognition.
