  • On maximal intermediate logics with the disjunction property.Larisa L. Maksimova - 1986 - Studia Logica 45 (1):69 - 75.
For intermediate logics, there is obtained in the paper an algebraic equivalent of the disjunction propertyDP. It is proved that the logic of finite binary trees is not maximal among intermediate logics withDP. Introduced is a logicND, which has the only maximal extension withDP, namely, the logicML of finite problems.

  • Cut Elimination In Noncommutative Substructural Logics.Bayu Surarso & Hiroakira Ono - 1996 - Reports on Mathematical Logic:13-29.
The present paper is concerned with the cut eliminability for some sequent systems of noncommutative substructural logics, i.e. substructural logics without exchange rule. Sequent systems of several extensions of noncommutative logics FL and LBB'I, which is sometimes called $\tw$, will be introduced. Then, the cut elimination theorem and the decision problem for them will be discussed in comparison with their commutative extensions.

  • Algebraization, Parametrized Local Deduction Theorem and Interpolation for Substructural Logics over FL.Nikolaos Galatos & Hiroakira Ono - 2006 - Studia Logica 83 (1-3):279-308.
Substructural logics have received a lot of attention in recent years from the communities of both logic and algebra. We discuss the algebraization of substructural logics over the full Lambek calculus and their connections to residuated lattices, and establish a weak form of the deduction theorem that is known as parametrized local deduction theorem. Finally, we study certain interpolation properties and explain how they imply the amalgamation property for certain varieties of residuated lattices.

  • An Algebraic Approach to the Disjunction Property of Substructural Logics.Daisuke Souma - 2007 - Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic 48 (4):489-495.
Some of the basic substructural logics are shown by Ono to have the disjunction property (DP) by using cut elimination of sequent calculi for these logics. On the other hand, this syntactic method works only for a limited number of substructural logics. Here we show that Maksimova's criterion on the DP of superintuitionistic logics can be naturally extended to one on the DP of substructural logics over FL. By using this, we show the DP for some of the substructural logics (...)

  • A metacompleteness theorem for contraction-free relevant logics.John K. Slaney - 1984 - Studia Logica 43 (1-2):159 - 168.
I note that the logics of the relevant group most closely tied to the research programme in paraconsistency are those without the contraction postulate(A.AB).AB and its close relatives. As a move towards gaining control of the contraction-free systems I show that they are prime (that wheneverA B is a theorem so is eitherA orB). The proof is an extension of the metavaluational techniques standardly used for analogous results about intuitionist logic or the relevant positive logics.
