    Certification and labeling initiatives that seek to enhance environmental and social sustainability are growing rapidly. This article analyzes the expansion of these private regulatory efforts in the coffee sector.     We analyse the nature of grassroots conflicts over the commercial logging of moabi by foreign firms in South-eastern Cameroon.     Divergent values are often at the heart of natural resource conflict.
