  1. Mirror neurons: From origin to function.Richard Cook, Geoffrey Bird, Caroline Catmur, Clare Press & Cecilia Heyes - 2014 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 37 (2):177-192.
    This article argues that mirror neurons originate in sensorimotor associative learning and therefore a new approach is needed to investigate their functions.
