  1. Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis is Not a Negative Contributor to Papillary Thyroid Cancer.Zeynep Çetin, Özden Başer & Serdar Güler - 2022 - European Journal of Therapeutics 28 (1):30-36.
Objective: Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is the most common autoimmune thyroid disease. Papillary thyroid cancer is the most common thyroid cancer. 2. Examples in Design Education: Inspiration or Fixation.Serkan Can Hatıpoğlu & Dilek Yıldız - 2018 - Shs Web Conferences 48:1-9.
Inspiration has an important role in design education. Searching existing design examples is a widely-used practice for inspiration. There are two different approaches regarding exposure of examples in design process. Some researchers claim that examples can inspire designers and increase the originality of outcomes, while other researchers highlight that examples cause fixedness to their features as a negative effect for creativity. The aim of the study is to analyse different modalities of examples, such as text, photograph, diagram, object as stimulation (...)

  3. Religiosity and Deviance Among College Students in Türkiye: A Test of Ascetic Theory.Sung Joon Jang, Steven Foertsch, Byron R. Johnson, Ozden Ozbay & Fatma Takmaz Demirel - 2023 - Deviant Behavior 44 (9):1334-1348.
Although an inverse relationship between religion and deviance is empirically well-established in the western context, previous studies on Islam and deviance conducted in non-western countries are limited. To address this gap in deviance research, we hypothesized that individual religiosity would be inversely related to deviance with the inverse relationship being more likely for ascetic than anti-ascetic or secular deviance. To test this hypothesis, we applied ordinary least squares and logistic regression methods to analyze data collected from 2,005 survey participants of (...)

  4. Dilek Huseyinzadegan, Kant's Nonideal Theory of Politics (Northwestern University Press, 2019). [REVIEW]Jennifer Mensch - 2021 - SGIR Review 4 (1-2):127-132.
In Dilek Huseyinzadegan’s analysis of Kant’s ‘impure’ politics what we have is a startling, innovative, and ultimately convincing portrait of Kant’s systematic attention to the material conditions underlying the everyday world of political subjects. Much as theorists have sought to enrich scholarly discussions of Kant’s moral philosophy by way of attention to Kant’s ‘practical anthropology’—the empirical counterpart to an a priori formal account of morals—in this book Huseyinzadegan provides us with a parallel look at Kant’s ‘political anthropology.’ By paying (...)
