The article analyzes the role of the international mediation of the OSCE in the conflict in eastern Ukraine. The author defines the characteristic aspects of its activities in the last three years based on a member-state chairmanship. The article highlights the role of all types of its activities, both specially established and permanent structural bodies of the OSCE. The effectiveness of the mechanisms introduced by OSCE for conflict resolution is estimated.

The article focuses on the eternal theme of human life: suffering and its cause, deeply revealed in the biblical Book of Job. Although from ancient times this problem and its disclosure were interpreted both in philosophy and in religion, it has remained unresolved until nowadays and therefore worries a lot of people. Researchers of the Book of Job focus on two problems: the problem of suffering and the problem of theodicy, which arises from the existence of evil and injustice in (...) the world. However, according to the author of the article, the main idea of the Book of Job is not the problem of God’s justice, but the problem of a person’s spiritual birth. In the text of the article, the author, scrupulously analyzing every image and symbol of the Book of Job, shows and proves that the suffering sent by God to Job through Satan is an initiation through which the transformation of the Job psyche and his spiritual birth takes place. To prove this, the author analyzes the spiritual world-attitude and God-attitude of Job before the trials and after the trial. The main author’s method is searching for images and symbols’ disclosure in the Book of Job, not only verbal, but also numerical ones. The article researches the main symbols of the Book of Job and their significance for understanding of this text. The author focuses on the ideas of numbers 3, 7, 10 and especially on the significance of number 10 as some kind of completeness. The author also analyzes the symbolic meaning of the ashes, images of the Leviathan and the Hippopotamus, and Satan as the messenger of God for human trials. The author reveales some key features of human psychology: the role of fear in the human life, behaviour in an extreme situation, and abandonment of the miserable man. Based on the disclosure of the symbolism of images and numbers, the author concludes that the problem of justice in the Book of Job is removed. God gives to everyone what he deserves, and suffering and deprivation are not a punishment, not ends in themselves, as in asceticism, but a means of spiritual and mental transformation and spiritual development of person. This article intends to analyze the performance and the efficiency of companies and to identify the key factors that may explain it. It was selected a sample with 15 enterprises: 7 Portuguese and 8 Ukrainian ones, belonging to several industries. Financial and non-financial data was collected for 6 years, during the period of 2009 to 2014. Research questions that guided this work were: Are the enterprises efficient/profitable? What factors influence enterprises’ efficiency/performance? Is there any difference between Ukrainian and Portuguese enterprises’ (...) efficiency/performance, which factors have more influence? Which industrial sector is represented by more efficient/profitable enterprises? The main results showed that in average enterprises were efficient with low level of profitability. According to gained results several indicators were highlighted so that companies would pay more attention to them. (shrink)

У статті з’ясовано специфіку морфологічного вираження суб’єктної синтаксеми в пасивних конструкціях сучасного адміністративно-канцелярського мовлення. Проаналізовано асинкретизм (суб’єкт дії) та синкретизм (суб’єкт-інструмент, суб’єкт-інструмент-час, суб’єктінструмент-об’єкт, суб’єкт-простір) семантики орудного відмінка субстантива та прийменниково-іменникового словосполучення. Матеріалом для дослідження слугували навчальні посібники та довідники з офіційно-ділового мовлення, датовані першими десятиліттями ХХІ ст.

Provides an overview of theoretical and empirical approaches to the understanding of political violence through the prism of economic development, poverty and inequality. Found good reason, showing the increasing domestic forms of violence in situations of economic crisis and extreme socio-economic polarization of society. Bad governance, legitimacy crisis and economic decline lead to the fragmentation of society, intensification of violent confrontation in the sociopolitical space and increase the risk of civil war, revolution or coup. We can say that there are (...) two theories that have played a major role in the specificity explained the link between poverty, inequality and political violence. The first is the theory of relative deprivation, which is the main source of political violence growth sees in social and political inequalities between different social groups. Long-term inequality leads to anger and despair among the general population, which for the sake of rapid political changes tend to use such a radical political tool as violence. The second is the rational choice theory, according to which the use of political violence risk increases with the decrease of per capita income, education level and overall economic development. Conflicts with the use of violence always cause destruction of accumulated physical, social, institutional and economic capital. This is especially feel in poor countries that are more vulnerable to deep crises. Failure to provide sufficient levels of investment in education, health, causes significant deterioration of human potential and living conditions. (shrink)

T he relevance of the topic of research of information management as a modern direction of the development of society is that in the 21st century the development of modern civilization in the direction of globalization - economic, political, cultural is accelerated. The central problem for the development of information civilization is information as one of the most important attributes and resources of human activity, which grows into knowledge. The article substantiates the essence, tasks and main directions of the development (...) of the concept of information management, determined by informationalism. The transition to a new information civilization has the character of a "technocratic project", based on the innovative development of society, which is based on the information infrastructure. The development of information management is promoted by the "knowledge society", which cultivates a creative person, the formation of which is based on information and knowledge. The research tasks are the conceptualization of the development of information and communication technologies, which are the basis for the development of information management; clarification of the essence, content and main directions of the development of information and communication technologies, which are introduced into the practice of the higher school educational process. The methodological basis for the formation and development of the concept of the information society is the informationalism studied by M. Castells, as well as the autopoiesic methodology of Maturana and Varela, as well as the synergistic and non-informational methods based on nonlinearity and informiology. The results of the research are the formation of the concept of information management as one of the most modern trends in the development of the 21st century society, which is quite innovative, requiring the development of an information and innovation society and an information and innovation personality. Conclusions - the concept of information management should be introduced in all areas of the development of society, including the higher school, which requires the formation of a creative personality as a subject of an information and innovation society.
