Монографія "Проблеми та перспективи розвитку системи вищої освіти в сучасному суспільстві" присвячена висвітленню особливостей функціонування сучасної вищої освіти, що виникають під впливом сучасних викликів у VUCA-світі, а також – визначенню перспектив подальшого розвитку вищої освіти. Особливу увагу авторам монографії потрібно приділяти вивченню тих умов реформування вищої освіти, які забезпечать сталий та результативний розвиток майбутніх фахівців. Автори колективної монографії дослідили комплекс нагальних проблем вищої освіти в Україні та за кордоном; визначили шляхи їх вирішення в умовах сучасних викликів на тлі трансформаційних змін (...) у суспільстві. Це, у свою чергу, вплинуло на побудову логічної структури монографії. У першому розділі монографії "Врядування у системі вищої освіти України" висвітлено проблеми ефективного управління в сучасних університетах, а також перехід від управління до врядування у закладах вищої освіти та фактори, що сприяють цьому процесу. Розглянуто український досвід щодо участі студентів у діяльності університетів. У другому розділі "Розвиток потенціалу університетів: від теорії до практики" автори вивчають фактори, які впливають на розвиток ЗВО. Особлива увага приділяється вивченню розвитку наукового-педагогічного персоналу та впровадженню інноваційних технологій у розвиток працівників закладів вищої освіти. У третьому розділі «Забезпечення якості вищої освіти: європейський та український досвід» увагу авторів монографії зосереджено на вивченні сучасних підходів до оцінювання студентів та аналізі стейкхолдерів забезпечення якості системі вищої освіти в Україні та в ЄС. Kyiv-Mohyla Seminar on the History of Philosophy was established by the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’s Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies in 2003. In this yearly seminar, the Department’s members as well as the historians of philosophy from other academic institutions regularly take part. Since 2003, 16 meetings of the seminar took place. They were focused on such topics as “Historiography of Philosophy in Ukraine: Current State and Perspectives”, “Actual Problems of the Source Studies in the Historiography of Philosophy”, “The Problem of (...) Text Interpretation in the Historiography of Philosophy”, “Dmytro Chyzhevskyi as a Historian of Philosophy”, “Historiography of Philosophy in Ukraine: Current State and Perspectives”, “The Problem of Method in the Historiography of Philosophy”, “Oleksii Losiev: Personality and Heritage ”, “Methodology of the Historiography of Philosophy: Actual Strategies”, “Wilhelm Windelband as a Philosopher and Historian of Philosophy ”, “Hegel’s Heritage in the Mirror of Interpretations”, “The Studies on the History of Philosophy: New Generation”, “Kant’s Criticism from the perspective of Wolf’s dogmatism”, “The Reception of Indian Philosophy in Ukraine: 1840s–1930s”, “Did Kant Answer the Question on What a Man Is?”. The proceedings of the early three meetings were published in a special volume. The current issue of “NaUKMA Research Papers in Philosophy and Religious Studies” contains the proceedings of the sixteenth meeting of Kyiv-Mohyla Seminar on the History of Philosophy, which took place at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy on February 1, 2017. The main speaker was Dr. Taras Lyuty, while the co-speakers included Dr. Mykhailo Minakov and Dr. Vakhtang Kebuladze. The meeting was conducted by Prof. Vadym Menzhulin. The audio recording of the meeting was deciphered by a PhD-student Taras Fostiak. (shrink)

The article is devoted to the actual problem of interaction of state authorities and civil society institutions in the sphere of humanitarian policy. The author seeks to examine the main aspects of such interaction, analyze the participation of civil society in the formation of the state humanitarian policy and determine the main factors of its implementation. The study of Ukrainian civil society as an object of managerial influence on humanitarian policy requires addressing the problem of delimiting the competence of the (...) state and society and determining the economic and political status of self-governing structures. The urgency of the problem of our study is that, despite the availability of publications related to the analysis of various aspects of communication between the state and civil society, to date, the problem of the very socio-political (social, civil dialogue, and formation of institutional mechanisms of dialogue interaction between power and society in Ukraine. A special kind of intersubjective dialogue is the institutional social and political dialogue between the state and civil society that takes place in the sphere of humanitarian policy. In recent years, the Ukrainian authorities are actively engaged in the creation of civil society institutions, today significant and important changes are taking place in the institutional design of the civil society of modern Ukraine. This tendency is expressed in the emergence and institutionalization of a number of new practices of interaction between society and government. In the same series, institutionalization of such interactions as negotiating procedures, discussions, debates, as well as tolerance, feedback mechanism, public relations The use of structural and functional analysis and the systemic method as the main ones in the study made it possible to conclude that, on the one hand, the range of the main functions and tasks of civil society, as a rule, is out of the framework of the current state structure. However, on the other hand, in some cases, civil society institutes can take part in governance by taking on a number of government functions. The specificity and effectiveness of this interaction depends on the specific political situation and on how effectively the public administration process is implemented in this case - whether it will be complicity or support from the state, or an informal substitution of non-working formal institutions. The result of the work is practical recommendations for removing obstacles and improving the intersubjective dialogue between civil society and the state in the field of humanitarian policy. (shrink)
