Problem setting. Socio-cultural and political problems of contemporary Ukrainе gives the study of the axiological aspect of historical memory of particular importance and it ceases to be the peripheral theme of philosophical reflection. Without a clear understanding of the value added of historical memory, further socio-cultural design and forecasting is made impossible. Recent research and publications analysis shows that а significant contribution to the understanding and interpretation of the concept under study belongs to such Ukrainian scholars, which carried out quite (...) productive steps in the theoretical understanding of a significant number of problems of the formation and functioning of historical memory, the determination of mechanisms for constructing national memory, its main features and its role in the process of identification of the Ukrainian people. Paper objective. The purpose of the paper is to define the concept of "historical memory", its structural and functional features and the an attempt to explicate its axiological aspect. Paper main body. The axiological measurement of historical memory has a dual detection. First, in certain periods of the history of a particular society, memory becomes unreliable, the causes of which may be a negative reaction to tragic events and historical facts, or ignorance, or intentional neglect of history. As a result of such unconsciousness, the perception of historical memory gradually formed as an unconditional value, an important component of the axioms of culture, as a necessary condition for the normal functioning of society. The fundamental moments of the concepts of historical memory are: social determinism, the difference from the system of transfer of biological information, recognition of its basis of the formation of individual and social consciousness, its direct influence on the development of historical consciousness of society. The main functions of historical memory are: - informational; - identification; - organizational; - world-view; - value-orientated. It can be presented as a spiritual core, a "national genetic code" that preserves knowledge and information about evolution, specific stages of development, conditions of existence and cultural potential of a society and, having withstood the test of time, has become a value for this community. The axiological dimension of historical memory has a dual discovery. First of all, it must be noted that in certain periods of history in society there is a memory that resulted in the gradual formation of the perception of historical memory as an unconditional value, an important component of the axioms of culture, a necessary condition for the adequate functioning of society. Secondly, historical memory actively forms the value-semantic space of society, is a means of forming a system of values of society. The resulting values of life play a consolidating role in ensuring interethnic accord and civil peace, serve as the formation of the consciousness of the people and the function of preserving the original culture. Historical memory makes it possible to invent and transmit in time importantly integrative ideas, and most importantly - the values without which any community would simply come to a decline. Conclusions of the research. The topicality of the study of the value added of historical memory is conditioned by the need to preserve the integrity of the domestic spiritual space, the development of a stable immunity in society against the threat of the destruction of the existing cultural identity. Historical memory in the modern world, it is simultaneously as a determining element and subject of state policy, a factor in the construction of a political nation, a prerequisite or interethnic and interethnic integration or conflict. At the same time, historical memory is a means of retranslation of political values, which plays an ambitious role in the political process. It is possible to find the value constants acceptable to the whole society, if the very historical memory is perceived not as an arena of ideological conflicts and as a means of political manipulation, but as an unconditional value. The article deals with the problem of genesis and essence of the doctrine of «Christian worldview» in modern neo-Calvinism. The views of À. Kuyper, A. Wolters, D. Naugle were analyzed in the article. A. Wolters has been described as a «towering figure» in the Kuyperian Neo-Calvinist pantheon. Albert Wolters’s classic formulation of an integrated Christian worldview has beenrevised and expanded to reach new readers beyond the generation that has already benefited from this clear, concise proposal for transcending the false dichotomy (...) between sacred and secular. He begins by defining the nature and scope of a worldview, distinguishing it from philosophy and theology. For example, Wolters presents a typological scheme of the basic ways of the relationship between worldview and philosophy. He outlines five different paradigms: W repels P W crowns P W flanks P W yields P W equals P. D. Naugle in book «Worldview: The History of a Concept» explores how worldview was defined by and the role it played in the work of a broad array of thinkers. A century ago, the concept, often referred to by the German word Weltanschauung, was quite popular, though definitions abounded. Worldview was never quite as significant for philosophy as it was for theology and the social sciences, but in many disciplines it was deemed to play a pivotal role in people’s basic orientation to the world and their commitments and values. Criticism of the neo-Calvinist doctrine of the «Christian worldview» is contained in the article also. For example, Bradford Littlejohn, president of the Davenant Institute, speaks seriously about some serious issues in the Christian thought. He discusses the weakness of the term «worldview» and offers as a replacement the term «wisdom». Thus, the neo-Calvinist doctrine of the worldview is a kind of religious-fundamentalist conception of human consciousness, which, from the point of view of its adherents, necessarily relies on the axiological foundations and has a theological dimension. At the same time, this doctrine does not take into account the peculiarities of modern cognitive research, which indicate the greater complexity and dynamism of views and value orientations. The concept of «worldview» is a system of unquestioning beliefs that automatically provide the necessary skills and behavior. The leading trend of the development of the neo-Calvinist doctrine of the worldview is the further spread, simplification and journalistic vulgarization. (shrink)

The specific of valued dimensions of information need to be in a careful consideration. Historical and theoretical development of a problem of value forms idea of value as teleological structure of human being. In culture, this structure appears as norms, ideals, the goods. This structure becomes value by means of emotional presentation in experience. Thanks to this presentation, the things given in experience are allocated with the importance and become valuable. In sociocultural dynamics of value exist as certain regions of (...) significant life and form certain valuable hierarchies. Value of information in pragmatical interpretation is considered as existence at information of the properties doing it valuable. Valuable information is given by qualities, which possess the pragmatical importance in the course of an exchange of this information: efficiency, profitability, utility, importance etc. Such value of information is defined from the purposes of exchange of information. Value of information in axiological interpretation is considered as existence of special valuable information. In this concept, value is considered as a certain type of information. Information essence of value defines it as a model, which provides a variety of a choice in various situations of activity. The purpose structure is the general phenomenon for a pragmatical assessment of information and axiological value of information. Through selection, stereotypization and a universalization of pragmatical properties of information valuable models are created. These models are various for various forms of activity and various cultures. Based on valuable models further there is an assessment of information proceeding not only from its pragmatical properties, but also from compliance to values. Thus, the analysis of axiological and pragmatical conceptions allows revealing characteristics, which are considered in a modern science as basic principle of forming valued information. У статті здійснено порівняльний аналіз концепцій ментального слова (verbum mentis) могилянських професорів Інокентія Ґізеля і Йосифа Волчанського. Аналіз спирається на латинськомовні рукописні трактати «De anima» Ґізеля (1646–1647 рр.) і «De corpore animato» Волчанського (1715–1717 рр.). Запропоновані тут концепції інтелектуального пізнання розглядаються у контексті західної схоластичної традиції. З’ясовано, що розуміння інтелектуального пізнання Інокентієм Ґізелем і Йосифом Волчанським суттєво відрізнялися. Концепція Ґізеля відзначається еклектичним характером і поєднує в собі елементи томістичної, скотистичної і суаресіанської інтерпретацій, тоді як Волчанський орієнтується на Франсиско Суареса та (...)
