W. Benjamin expresa su inquietud política en las tesis acerca de la “violencia revolucionaria” como “excepción divina”, valorada por J. Derrida como una ruptura histórica; esto permite ver una analogía e incluso una continuidad en estos autores. Sin embargo, Derrida subraya la inadecuación política y el efecto “insoportable” del planteamiento de Benjamin. Se intenta comprender el fondo de esta crítica y avanzar hacia una hipótesis que haga converger las dos problematizaciones de la violencia y las complemente con el tema mesiánico (...) y el problema de la responsabilidad. Architecture and Deconstruction. Case of Peter Eisenman and Bernard Tschumi -/- Intensive relations between philosophical deconstruction and architecture, which were present in the late 1980s and early 1990s, belong to the past and therefore may be described from a greater than before distance. Within these relations three basic variations can be distinguished: the first one, in which philosophy of deconstruction deals with architectural terms but does not interfere with real architecture, the second one, in which a collaboration between Jacques Derrida (...) and a group of architects interested in his concepts is commenced, and the third one, in which completed or only designed objects or new concepts of deconstruction created by architects gain their supremacy over philosophy. This essay examines the capacity of language (‘word’) to convey what there is (‘world’). It draws on philosophical thought, which it seeks to apply to law while making specific reference to comparative legal studies, that is, to the investigation of law that is foreign to its interpreter.

Roberto Esposito (1998; 2002; 2008) examines how immunological apparatuses originally designed to protect communities end up undermining communities. This paper explores comparatively his view on the interplay between community and immunity with Giorgio Agamben’s and Jacques Derrida’s, although in their works these notions appear under other labels. Beyond pointing out their similarities, the paper concludes by analyzing what, in our view, constitute the raison d’être of their ultimate and irreconcilable differences: Agamben’s approach is _antinomic_, while Derrida’s is _aporetic_ and Esposito’s (...) is rather _dialectical_.
