Filozofski vodič je stručna monografija namijenjena prvenstveno učenicima srednjih škola i studentima, koji se trebaju upustiti u pripremu ili maturskog rada ili pisanja seminarskog rada iz filozofije. Knjigu je recenzirao dr Predrag Krstić, istraživač saradnik na Institutu za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju Univerziteta u Beogradu i redovni profesor na Fakultetu za medije i komunikaciju Univerziteta Singidunum u Beogradu, sa iskustvom od trinaest godina u radu kao gimnazijski profesor filozofije, kao i prof. dr Miodrag Živanović redovni profesor u penziji Filozofskog fakulteta (...) Univerziteta u Banjoj Luci. Galić je tim povodom poklonila pet primjeraka vodiča Gimnaziji Banja Luka odmah po objavljivanju same knjige. (shrink)

The originality of Karl Polanyi's work in the interwar period has gained increasing recognition in recent years, during which time the major debate on modernity has erupted. In order to link Polanyi's work with this debate, I will first discuss his legacy on the controversial concept of progress, and then relate his position to this debate. It is my contention that Polanyi's position combines the better aspects of the two rival approaches to modernity. I will then re-link Polanyi's thought to (...) the intellectual figures, movements and climate of his time and thereby disclose a curious affinity between his thought and the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School. This affinity can best be understood within the parameters of the historical context that they once shared. (shrink)

La primera parte versa sobre las generaciones de derechos humanos y analiza la evolución histórica de las libertades. Los derechos humanos nacieron en el seno de la Modernidad, con marcada impronta individualista, como libertades individuales que configuran la primera fase o generación de los derechos humanos. Dicha matriz ideológica individualista sufrirá un amplio proceso de erosión e impugnación en las luchas sociales del siglo XIX. Esos movimientos reivindicativos evidenciarán la necesidad de completar el catálogo de los derechos y libertades de (...) la primera generación con una segunda generación de derechos: los derechos económicos, sociales y culturales. La estrategia reivindicativa de los derechos humanos se presenta hoy con rasgos inequívocamente novedosos al polarizarse en torno a temas tales como el derecho a la paz, los derechos de los consumidores, el derecho a la calidad de vida, o la libertad informática. En función de ello, se abre paso, con intensidad creciente, la convicción de que nos hallamos ante una tercera generación de derechos humanos complementadora de las fases anteriores. La segunda parte trata del impacto de la teledemocracia y la ciberciudadanía en la esfera de los derechos humanos. La temática de las generaciones de derechos se prolonga en un aspecto nuclear referente a los derechos de la tercera generación: La proyección de las NT y las TIC en el proceso político de las sociedades democráticas y, como uno de los principales aspectos de ese fenómeno, el ejercicio de los derechos humanos de participación política a través de los nuevos medios tecnológicos . Se estudian aquí las principales ventajas y riesgos que entrañan esas proyecciones tecnológicas en el ejercicio de los derechos humanos. (shrink)

En este artículo propongo una lectura de la ilustración kantiana como tarea que solo puede realizar el pueblo, en discusión con las visiones hegemónicas (críticas y defensivas) de la ilustración producidas en Europa Occidental en el siglo XX.

Post-modernity as a New Chance for the Enlightenment: On Necessity of Overcoming Modernity. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that the end of modernity does not necessary comprise a cultural regress but can also be seen as new stage of the process of Enlightenment in Western history. After the presentation of popular and commonly recognized definitions of modernity and postmodernity, the author will attempt to demonstrate the main limitations of modernity on the basis of philosophies of Max Stirner (...) and Frederic Nietzsche. The author’s main objection to modernity is its tendency to reproduce the centralistic structure of pre-modern traditional communities in which one metaphysical term designated the universally obligatory norms. By way of crashing this structure, postmodernity opens new possibilities to an individual for creating new, particular values, thus enabling the individual to discover new forms of self-realization. To make human life in such a decentralized society possible, the individual would have to attain a new mental level. Civil education, therefore, has to go beyond the borders of modernity and be open to new ways of learning and solving social conflict. (shrink)

The aim of this paper is to show that Honneth’s philosophy of history is teleological in a narrow sense. This teleological character is problematic for the theory of the struggle for recognition, for the conception of history as such, and for the methodology of the normative reconstruction. In particular, the teleological conception gives to the theory of recognition a historical form that points out a unilateral character. Furthermore, the teleological neo-Hegelian methodology of normative reconstruction seems to adopt a too stark (...) trust in the progress of human societies faced with the problem of social, political and cultural regressions.
