  1. Does Naturalised Inferentialism Face the Incompleteness Problem? Reply to Reinikainen.Jaroslav Peregrin - forthcoming - Topoi:1-4.
    In a paper published in this journal Reinikainen (forthcoming) argues that my version of inferentialism “faces a problem concerning the determination of linguistic meaning”, which “essentially emerges from troubles in understanding, in inferentialist terms, how the world is ‘embodied’ in language”. As far as I can see, his argument is based on a misunderstanding of what my inferentialism amounts to. I explain what I mean.

  • The Enigma of Normative Attitudes.Vladimír Svoboda - forthcoming - Topoi:1-11.
    The paper focuses its attention on the opacities and ambiguities that concern the meaning of the term “normative attitude” as it is used in two versions of inferentialism – in Brandom’s foundational inferentialist system and in Peregrin’s naturalized version of inferentialism. It suggests that both authors oscillate between viewing normative attitudes as publically accessible affairs and as private states/events hidden from the sight of others.
