The unbearable emptiness of being?

Abstract

"Being" is not a mere linguistic construct devoid of content. Through a metaphysical, ontological and hierarchical argumentative method, and through a critical analysis of philosophical traditions that deny the real entity of being, we will highlight that "being" is not an empty term but the condition of the existence of everything, the summum sine qua non . A dialogue between metaphysics and the thought of Xavier Zubiri will reveal that the actuality of being is a necessary condition for all predication and a predication in itself.
