  1. Possibilities and Limitations of AI in Philosophical Inquiry Compared to Human Capabilities.Keita Tsuzuki - manuscript
Traditionally, philosophy has been strictly a human domain, with wide applications in science and ethics. However, with the rapid advancement of natural language processing technologies like ChatGPT, the question of whether artificial intelligence can engage in philosophical thinking is becoming increasingly important. 2. Veganism, Animal Welfare, and Causal Impotence.Samuel Kahn - 2020 - Journal of Animal Ethics 10 (2):161-176.
Proponents of the utilitarian animal welfare argument (AWA) for veganism maintain that it is reasonable to expect that adopting a vegan diet will decrease animal suffering. In this paper I argue otherwise. I maintain that (i) there are plausible scenarios in which refraining from meat-consumption will not decrease animal suffering; (ii) the utilitarian AWA rests on a false dilemma; and (iii) there are no reasonable grounds for the expectation that adopting a vegan diet will decrease animal suffering. The paper is (...)

  3. Miten humanistinen tutkimus vaikuttaa yhteiskunnassa?Inkeri Koskinen - 2016 - Tiedepolitiikka 4 (2016):33–40.
Tieteen yhteiskunnallisen vaikuttavuuden käsite on nykyään kohtuuttoman kapea. Tilanne on hermeneuttisesti epäoikeudenmukainen: etenkin humanistisen tutkimuksen yhteiskunnallinen vaikuttavuus jää näkymättömiin, koska käytettävä vaikuttavuuden käsite ei kata sitä. Tämä hapertaa jopa humanististen alojen itseymmärrystä. Humanistinen tutkimus vaikuttaa kuitenkin konkreettisin tavoin siihen, keitä olemme.

COMPARATIVE REVIEW: TOP CLOUD SERVICE PROVIDERS ETL TOOLS - AWS VS. AZURE VS. GCP.Borra Praveen - 2024 - International Journal of Computer Engineering and Technology 15 (3):203-208.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools play a crucial role in contemporary data management by enabling the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into designated systems for analysis and reporting purposes. Major cloud service providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) give robust ETL solutions tailored to diverse business needs. This document presents a comparative assessment of the primary ETL tools offered by AWS, Azure, and GCP—namely, AWS Glue, Amazon Data Pipeline, Azure (...)
