  1. The prehistory of number concept.Karenleigh A. Overmann, Thomas Wynn & Frederick L. Coolidge - 2011 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 34 (3):142-144.
Carey leaves unaddressed an important evolutionary puzzle: In the absence of a numeral list, how could a concept of natural number ever have arisen in the first place? Here we suggest that the initial development of natural number must have bootstrapped on a material culture scaffold of some sort, and illustrate how this might have occurred using strings of beads.

Towards “Glass Bead Games 2.0”: Nurturing Global Cultural Memories by Means of New Forms of Art and Knowledge Interaction in the Age of AI.David Bartosch - 2024 - Herança – History, Heritage and Culture Journal 7 (Special):12–30.
The advent of AI calls for an existential self-redefinition of humanity. It necessitates the establishment of a pluralistic global humanist culture that enables us to coexist in the new world of active media and autopoietic technology. In this paper, related philosophical questions give rise to the proposal of a novel metaculture that elevates human heritages and cultural memories to the plane of a digital AI- based infrastructure. I argue for a balanced and holistic approach to human-to-human and human–AI interactions and (...)

  5. The EPS and XPS technical proprieties comparison and their usage in Albanian Contexed.Klodjan Xhexhi - 2023 - International Journal of Engineering and Science (IJES) 12 (3):20-24-1805.
Extruded polystyrene (XPS) otherwise known as a thermoplastic polymer has a closed cell structure and is often stronger, with a higher mechanical performance. XPS is a pressed material and is sold in different thicknesses ranging from 2 cm to 10 cm, thus having a weight that varies from 28 to 45 kg/m3 due to the force and pressure exerted on it. In general, XPS material has very low thermal conductivity and is resistant to bending. This material obtains typical values of (...)

  6. A Justification of Empirical Thinking.Arnold Zuboff - 2014 - Philosophy Now 102:22-24.
Imagine two urns, each with a thousand beads - in one all the beads are blue while in the other only one of the thousand is blue. If one of these urns is pushed forward (based on the toss of a fair coin) and the single bead then randomly drawn from it is blue, we must infer that it is a thousand times more probable that the urn pushed forward is the purely blue one. The hypothesis that this (...)

Quantum-Dynamic Theory of Musical Forms.Đulijano Đulić - manuscript
The quantum-dynamic theory of musical forms redefines music as an ontological and noematic phenomenon, extending beyond its traditional auditory interpretation. This theory proposes that music represents the acoustic expression of thought vibrations, where each melody and harmony serves as a direct manifestation of universal noetic structures. Tonal forms are conceptualized as carriers of metaphysical and philosophical truths, bridging the gap between human discursiveness and the divine. Through specific examples, such as Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and Beethoven's Pastoral (...)

  8. Shodasi : Secrets of the Ramayana.Seshendra Sharma & Sharma Seshendra - 2015 - Hyderabad : India: Saatyaki S/o Seshendra Sharma.
Ramayan Through Kundalini Yoga Shodasi is an ideal read for Sanskrit-literate readers who are open to eclectic yogarthas and connotative meanings -------- So you thought Vyasa was before Valmiki, Mahabharat was before Ramayan, Rama a Vishnu avatar, and tantrism distinct from vedism? Think again. In Shodasi: Secrets of the Ramayana, Telugu poet Seshendra Sharma re-reads the Ramayan to come up with a number of new conclusions. Much of the book sets out to prove that Ramayan was written before the Mahabharat. (...)
