Coping Mechanisms and Teachers' Innovative Practices in Distance Learning: Challenges and Difficulties for the Modular Teaching and Learning Approach.Elizabeth Mendoza, Loven Cris Cimagala, Aileen Villagonzalo, Maricris Guillarte & Jeffry Saro - 2023 - Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal 6:797-808.
Teachers began preparing for modular and interactive distance learning under the presumption that teaching would continue regardless of the situation. 6. Verification: The Hysteron Proteron Argument.Francis Jeffry Pelletier & Bernard Linsky - 2018 - Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy 6 (6).
This paper investigates the strange case of an argument that was directed against a positivist verification principle. We find an early occurrence of the argument in a talk by the phenomenologist Roman Ingarden at the 1934 International Congress of Philosophy in Prague, where Carnap and Neurath were present and contributed short rejoinders. We discuss the underlying presuppositons of the argument, and we evaluate whether the attempts by Carnap (especially) actually succeed in answering this argument. We think they don’t, and offer (...)

  7. Love, Anger, and Racial Injustice.Myisha Cherry - 2018 - In Adrienne M. Martin (ed.), The Routledge Handbook of Love in Philosophy. New York: Routledge Handbooks in Philoso.
Luminaries like Martin Luther King, Jr. urge that Black Americans love even those who hate them. This can look like a rejection of anger at racial injustice. We see this rejection, too, in the growing trend of characterizing social justice movements as radical hate groups, and people who get angry at injustice as bitter and unloving. Philosophers like Martha Nussbaum argue that anger is backward-looking, status focused, and retributive. Citing the life of the Prodigal Son, the victims of the Charleston (...)

  8. SAR-BSO meta-heuristic hybridization for feature selection and classification using DBNover stream data.Dharani Talapula, Kiran Ravulakollu, Manoj Kumar & Adarsh Kumar - forthcoming - Artificial Intelligence Review.
Advancements in cloud technologies have increased the infrastructural needs of data centers due to storage needs and processing of extensive dimensional data. Many service providers envisage anomaly detection criteria to guarantee availability to avoid breakdowns and complexities caused due to large-scale operations. The streaming log data generated is associated with multi-dimensional complexity and thus poses a considerable challenge to detect the anomalies or unusual occurrences in the data. In this research, a hybrid model is proposed that is motivated by deep (...)
