    (1 other version)Metatota Metastable Triadic RCR and Q-RCR Models.Justin Gallant - 2025 - Research Gate.
Metatotal Triadic Metastable RCR and Q-RCR Models This paper introduces the Recursive-Collapse-Recombination (RCR) Model, a non-hierarchical, metastable framework that captures the fundamental dynamics of self-organizing systems across multiple domains. The RCR model describes metastability as an emergent process driven by three interdependent forces: recursion (self-similarity and iterative structuring), collapse (destabilization and phase shifts), and recombination (adaptive reconfiguration of past structures). Unlike conventional models, RCR is fully triadic, non-linear, and self-regulating, ensuring that no single force dominates permanently. I further extend this (...)

  2. The Role of Philosophers in RCR Training.Comstock Gary - 2014 - Journal of Microbiology Biological Education 15 (2):139-142.
The expanding moral circle lends coherence to the usual hodge-podge of canonical RCR topics. As it is in a person’s own interest to report falsification, understand fabrication, avoid plagiarism, beware of intuition, and justify one’s decisions, it is useful to begin RCR discussions with the principle that we ought to do what is in our own long-term best interests. As it is in the interest of a person’s research group to articulate their reasons for their conclusions, to write cooperatively, review (...)

  3. Mapping responsible conduct in the uncharted field of research-creation: a scoping review.Nathalie Voarino, Vincent Couture, S. Mathieu-C., Jean-Christophe Bélisle-Pipon, Emilie St-Hilaire, Bryn Williams-Jones, François-Joseph Lapointe, Cynthia Noury, Marianne Cloutier & Philippe Gauthier - 2019 - Accountability in Research 26 (5):311-46.
This scoping review addresses the issues of responsible conduct of research (RCR) that can arise in the practice of research-creation (RC), an emergent, interdisciplinary, and heterogeneous field at the interface of academic research and creative activities. Little is yet known about the nature and scope of RCR issues in RC, so our study examined three questions: (1) What are the specific issues in RC in relation to RCR? (2) How does the specificity of RC influence the understanding and practice of (...)

  4. A note on using Digital Science’s Dimensions to learn about individual research impact.Viet-Phuong La - 2023 - Sm3D Science Portal.
So instead of trying to ignore the metrics’ importance, this article introduces an increasingly powerful tool for a publishing academic to track one’s academic impact. Of course, you will soon see that the method is centered on the citation, but there is also more than the citation count alone. The tool is called Dimensions.
