Emoția poate fi diferită de alte constructe similare, precum sentimentele (nu toate sentimentele includ emoția); stările sufletești (durează mult mai mult decât emoțiile, sunt mai puțin intense și adesea lipsite de stimul contextual), sau afectul (experiența sentimentului sau a emoției). Platon, în Republica, propune trei componente de bază ale minții umane: raționamentul, dorința și părțile emotive. Pentru Aristotel emoțiile au fost importante în viața morală, o componentă esențială a virtuții. An argumentation for the dualistic importance of emotions in society, individually and at community level. The current tendency of awareness and control of emotions through emotional intelligence has a beneficial effect in business and for the success of social activities but, if we are not careful, it can lead to irreversible alienation at individual and social level. The paper consists of three main parts: Emotions (Emotional models, Emotional processing, Happiness, Philosophy of emotions, Ethics of emotions), Emotional intelligence (Models of emotional (...) intelligence, Emotional intelligence in research and education, Philosophy of emotional intelligence, Emotional intelligence in Eastern philosophy), Emotional intelligence in organizations (Emotional work, Philosophy of emotional intelligence in organizations, Criticism of emotional intelligence in organizations, Ethics of emotional intelligence in organizations). Objections to the computational theory of cognition, inspired by twentieth century phenomenology, have tended to fixate on the embodiment and embeddedness of intelligence. In this paper I reconstruct a line of argument that focusses primarily on the abstract nature of scientific models, of which computational models of the brain are one sort. I observe that the critique of scientific abstraction was rather commonplace in the philosophy of the 1920s and 30s and that attention to it aids the reading of The (...) Organism ([1934] 1939) by the neurologist Kurt Goldstein. With this background in place, we see that some brief but spirited criticisms of cybernetics by two later thinkers much influenced by Goldstein, Georges Canguilhem (1963) and Maurice Merleau-Ponty (1961), show continuity with the earlier discussions of abstraction in science. The author researches phenomenon of the right wing radical political parties in Europe. As far as in political science there is no vivid approach towards determination of this phenomenon, author analyzes terminological approaches and offers to use term «right wing radicals» as common for this phenomenon. Recently, we can increasingly observe in political practice that conservative political parties adopt the rhetoric of right-wing radicals and are increasingly using their slogans, especially anti-immigrant rhetoric in their work. This is due to increased (...) competition in the right range. To protect themselves from competition from the right, conservatives are forced to use slogans that are acceptable for the majority of voters. Thus, in modern political science there is no single approach to the concept of extreme right-wing parties. However, the term «neo / neo-Nazism» is outdated and can not explain the phenomenon of modern political parties, most of them distance themselves from totalitarian ideologies of right and do not recognize their ideology. The term «right-wing populism» has no methodological clarity for use as a generic concept. The best is the term «right radicalism,» which reflects features of the ideology and practice of extreme right-wing political parties and can be used as a generic concept. (shrink)
