  • History of science content analysis of Chinese science textbooks from the perspective of acculturation.Yongjun Ma & Yanlan Wan - 2017 - Science & Education 26 (6):669-690.
    Based on previous international studies, a content analysis scheme has been designed and used from the perspective of culture to study the history of science in science textbooks. Nineteen sets of Chinese science textbooks have been analyzed. It has been found that there are noticeable changes in the quantity, content, layout, presentation, and writing intention of the HOS sections in textbooks from different time periods.
