    This article analyzes the United Nations Global Compact under the conceptual framework of explicit versus implicit corporate social responsibility to better understand the operational and governance challenges behind this voluntary global initiative.   • The Penalization of Non-Communicating UN Global Compact’s Companies by Investors and Its Implications for This Initiative’s Effectiveness.Estefania Amer - 2018 - Business and Society 57 (2):255-291.
