    We show that the physical meaning of the wave function can be derived based on the established parts of quantum mechanics.     The many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics is based on three key assumptions: the completeness of the physical description by means of the wave function, the linearity of the dynamics for the wave function, and multiplicity.
