    We show that, like singular cardinals, and weakly compact cardinals, Jensen's core model K for measures of order zero [4] calculates correctly the successors of Jónsson cardinals, assuming $O^{Sword}$ does not exist. Namely, if $\kappa$ is a Jónsson cardinal then $\kappa^+ = \kappa^{+K}$ , provided that there is no non-trivial elementary embedding $j:K \longrightarrow K$ . There are a number of related results in ZFC concerning $\cal{P}(\kappa)$ in V and inner models, for $\kappa$ a Jónsson or singular cardinal.

    We show that the notion of cardinality of a set is independent from that of wellordering, and that reasonable total notions of cardinality exist in every model of ZF where the axiom of choice fails. Such notions are either definable in a simple and natural way, or non-definable, produced by forcing. Analogous cardinality notions exist in nonstandard models of arithmetic admitting nontrivial automorphisms. Certain motivating phenomena from quantum mechanics are also discussed in the Appendix.

    We will present an elementary theory in which we can speak of mereological sets composed of distributive classes. Besides the concept of a distributive class and the membership relation , it will possess the notion of a mereological set and the relation of being a mereological part.     In this paper, we study the union axiom of ZFC. After a brief introduction, we sketch a proof of the folklore result that union is independent of the other axioms of ZFC.     In this paper we introduce a notation system for the infinitary derivations occurring in the ordinal analysis of KP + Π₃-Reflection due to Michael Rathjen. This allows a finitary ordinal analysis of KP + Π₃-Reflection. The method used is an extension of techniques developed by Wilfried Buchholz, namely operator controlled notation systems for RS∞-derivations.     We generalize Solovay's unfolding technique for infinite games and use an Unfolding Theorem to give a uniform method to prove that all analytic sets are in the $\sigma$ -algebras of measurability connected with well-known forcing notions.
